Working Board is a general-purpose, cost-effective machinable polyurethane tooling material in the LH-TOOL® product line, designed for everyday workshop fixture fabrication, auxiliary jigs, checking supports, positioning blocks and non-critical prototype structures. Available in low, medium and high density grades, it covers a wide spectrum of conventional tooling needs. Low-density working boards are lightweight and easy for fast rough shaping, suitable for temporary supports and one-off test fixtures. Medium-density grades are the most popular option, offering balanced machinability, surface hardness and stable dimensional performance for most routine CNC machining, assembly and inspection tasks. High-density working boards provide higher compressive strength and scratch resistance for frequently handled, repeatedly clamped auxiliary tooling.
The material features a homogeneous internal structure, clean chip removal during milling and drilling, and minimal dust generation, helping workshops improve processing efficiency. It works seamlessly with our full set of board accessories, including matching adhesives, repair fillers and Epoxy Modeling Paste for splicing large blocks, repairing machining defects and smoothing seams.
